




Hello! I’m Jodie and I’m an editor and writer of children’s fiction and nonfiction. I’m American and British and I live in Hertfordshire, in England.
I’ve published 20 books for kids and I have lots, lots more hidden in a closet that may (or may not) contain my secret stash of chocolate (it does) that I am hiding from my children. I can’t wait to share them with you (the books, not the chocolate. I never share chocolate.)

Jodie Parachini is an American/British author and editor who currently lives in Hertfordshire, England. Jodie is the Editor of Exhibitions and Galleries at the Natural History Museum, London, and has worked as a writer and researcher for other museums around the world, including the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She is the author of numerous children’s books including The Grand Bug Hotel, HeroRat!, Listening to the Stars, and This Is a Serious Book.
